Step 1: Install Claude Desktop
If you have not already, download and install Claude Desktop for macOS or Windows. MCP servers are not available in the web version of Claude.
After installation, verify that you can open the settings menu. On macOS: Claude > Settings > Developer. You should see an “Edit Config” button that opens the MCP configuration file.
