Brand Visibility Score measures the percentage of relevant AI-generated answers in which your brand is mentioned by name, regardless of whether a link is included. It is one of the two foundational KPIs for AI Search visibility, alongside Citation Rate.

For example, if you track 100 relevant AI answers in your category and your brand appears in 40 of them, your Brand Visibility Score is 40%.
